Certified translation of official documents

As a member of the Chartered Institute of Linguists and the Institute of Translation and Interpreting I am fully accredited to provide certified translations of official documents, as required by British institutions, from the Home Office, government agencies and courts to banks and insurance companies.

Please note I do also provide ‘sworn translations’ required by Polish institutions.

What is a certified translation?

A certified translation consists of the translation itself plus a signed statement by the translator affirming that the translated text is an accurate and complete rendering of the original document.

How much will it cost?

Standard documents e.g. Birth / Marriage certificates / Diplomas / School certificates / Insurance documentation / Criminal Records Bureau certificates from £25.

Please note I can only provide a binding quote after I have seen the document in question.

How to place an order?

Please email a scan or a clear digital photo of the document for a quote.

On receipt of the document I will get back to you to confirm the price, delivery date and payment details. If you're happy with it, I will translate the document and send the finished translation to the address provided and in the time frame agreed.

Translations can be collected in person, emailed or posted to a specified address (recorded delivery will incur an additional charge).

How to pay?

You can pay by cash, bank transfer or PayPal.

For translations collected in person – payment on collection.

For translations posted/emailed, the translation will be sent only after the full payment is received.
